
The Old Testament is full of giants. Moses, Joshua, Ruth, David, Daniel—these great men and women of faith can be intimidating for those of us trying to live for Christ as everyday people. That's why we need the story of Gideon. He was an important leader, yes—but he also felt abandoned by God, struggled with faith, and ultimately succumbed to pride. Thus, we can learn a lot from his example.
